Why Vietnamese Businesses Are Willing to Pay up to USD 2,000 per Day, Yet Still Cannot Hire Great Consultants During the Pandemic?

In Vietnam, with about 800 thousand enterprises, if each enterprise spends 100 million VND per year on training and consulting services, the total value of Vietnam's consulting industry would reach more than 3 billion USD. Fees for consultants, depending on the level, range from about 200 USD/day to 2,000 USD/day. On the other hand, experts with professionalism, ethics and standards are few in number and are often in high demand, so they are very often fully booked.

After about half a year of being affected by the pandemic, businesses have now begun to step up their activities, and with that, demand for consulting and training has returned. What is quite interesting is that when businesses realize the importance of taking action (training and transformation), a situation arises: they cannot find experts.
