Lean Six Sigma Strengthens Competitiveness for Vietnamese Manufacturing

Manufacturing is one of the key industries accounting for more than one-third of Vietnam's GDP. However, increasingly fierce competition is forcing manufacturing companies to seek effective solutions to strengthen their competitiveness. This is also a challenge for manufacturing businesses in Vietnam.

To address this issue, many companies have adopted the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) management methodology. It is a quality and production process management methodology that helps improve efficiency by reducing waste and optimizing production processes. Although still relatively new in Vietnam, LSS is almost a mandatory requirement for everyone working in manufacturing, including office-based departments, worldwide.
